We urgently seek support for Baby Angelina, an 11-month-old girl, currently admitted to the PICU at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru. She was admitted on 12 August 2026 with her first severe episode of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), where her blood sugar reached approximately 600 mg/dL. She is receiving continuous IV fluids, IV insulin, clinical investigations, and specialized PICU care.
💔 A Family Under Severe Financial Strain:
Angelina's father works as a delivery worker with a modest income. The family has three young daughters under 10 years of age, including their 9-year-old daughter who also battles Type 1 Diabetes and requires around 8 insulin doses daily. With the ongoing cost of insulin for the older daughter and now Angelina's emergency PICU treatment, the family is struggling to manage the escalating medical expenses.
